Do your self storage locations provide outside storage for RV/ Boat/Car/ motorcycle parking?
Some of our self storage locations offer outside storage where you can store boats, RVs, trucks trailers, motorcycles and cars. But this is not a standard offering at all locations. Find the closest location to see if the service is available. The vehicle must be driveable and we need a copy of the registration or title on file.
Do your self storage locations have a referral program?
Absolutely! We will give you $25 off your next month's rent per referral, with no limit to rental credits. We Love Referrals!
Do your self storage locations offer any discounts or run specials?
Our pricing is very competitive and specials are not always necessary to offer you the best deal available. Based on availability, we do offer rent specials and always offer a free month special if rent is paid one year in advance.
Why do I need insurance?
While your items are in storage they are not covered by the storage location for loss or damage. We strongly recommend that all customers take advantage of the insurance offered at the location. Do not assume any existing policy will automatically cover your items in storage. Check with your insurance agent regarding your homeowners or renters policy coverage.
Are there moving trucks available to use?
All of our facilities offer a free truck for use during move-in. Once you have identified a specific facility, we recommend contacting the facility directly to arrange the use of our free truck during move in. Contact information is available online, once you select a facility.
Do your self storage locations sell packing materials?
Yes, all of our self storage locations have a complete inventory of packing and moving supplies. Please check out our website under Amenities, Storage Supplies for a complete list.
Do your self storage locations supply locks?
We sell them on-site or you may bring your own lock. We recommend the "disc lock" for enhanced security.
What items cannot be stored?
You cannot store any hazardous, toxic, or illegal items. Also, no food or perishable items can be stored in our spaces. If in doubt of what can be stored in our spaces, please ask the property manager. Examples of items that cannot be stored are: Ammunitions, gasoline, paint, paint thinner, propane, food, produce, plants, fireworks, etc.
Does it matter what types of boxes are used for storage?
Use high quality moving boxes designed for your move as opposed to recycled grocery cartons. We offer a full range of moving boxes at all of our Self Storage Zone locations.
Do you have moving carts available?
All facilities that have inside units with access through a hallway will maintain an inventory of "push carts" that may be used free of charge.
Do your self storage locations accept deliveries?
Yes, we are glad to accept deliveries as long as we have your authorization on file.
What is climate control?
Climate control is a feature that we offer at all of our facilities. Our climate controlled units maintain a temperature of 55 to 80 degrees. This feature helps protect your stored belongings from the extreme temperatures.
What type of deposits/fees do you charge?
We do not charge a deposit fee, but we do charge a small administration fee.
Do I have to rent for a certain number of months?
No, your lease is on a month-to-month basis, with a minimum of one month.
How far in advance can I book a reservation?
We give you the flexibility to book a reservation up to 30 days in advance to help you plan ahead.
What are the payment terms?
We strive to make your storage experience as hassle free as possible, including paying your bill. Typically, our leases are month-to-month but we also offer the flexibility of long-term leases. We also offer Auto Pay. We can automatically charge your MasterCard®, Visa®, Discover®, or American Express® each month.
What type of security do your self storage locations provide?
We take great pride in protecting your belongings and strive to provide state of-the-art security. We feature electronic gates with coded access, monitored video surveillance, fenced and well-lit facilities, individual door alarms and personal locks available for purchase. These features vary by location so contact the Store Manager for details about a specific location.
Can anybody drive onto this property or do you need a PIN number?
All of our facilities have electronic gate systems which can only be opened by a security code that is assigned to each individual tenant. The code allows us to monitor who is entering and exiting the facilities.
What's the difference between office hours and gate hours?
The office hours are the hours of operation for the property. During these hours the Store Manager will be available to assist you with your storage needs or moving and packing supplies. The gate hours are the hours of the property, and when your unit can be accessed.
What sizes are available and how do I pick my size?
We offer a wide range of sizes to accommodate your needs. Sizes range from 5x5, or 25 square feet, to 10x40, or 400 square feet. Determining the right size is easy with the help of our Store Managers who are trained to assist you in this process.
What is a drive-up unit?
A drive-up unit is an outside unit, located on the first floor of a facility that gives you the ability to load your belongings directly from a vehicle or truck.
